I could have gone for another Elton John song (Goodbye Yellow Brick Road) but that just doesn’t seem right. So we’ll go for this classic instead: Live & Let Die by McCartney’s Wings.
If we’re honest, my first memory of this is from the Bond film of the same name. Now, it would appear the film was released in 1973, so I wouldn’t have seen it when it first came out, but I do distinctly remember watching it at the movies. Maybe we were just so far behind the times back then that it took years for it to arrive in NZ. Whatever, Bond was cool (yes, even the Roger Moore version), the stunts crazy and any movie with a young Jane Seymour in it has to be applauded.
