And so we tick over to the 1990s and, I have to say, the music selection suddenly takes a dive. Thank goodness, then, for Aerosmith.
What It Takes is a good theme tune for my first year at university, living away from home, sort of out on my own. My biggest memory of Aerosmith from that time, however, comes from the fact they were forced down my throat (no, not in that way). The guy in the dorm room just next to me at Waikato University’s Bryant Hall played them over and over and over and over and over and… (you get the picture). Just as well they were/are decent.
